Brittany Training
The Brittany is a compact, high-energy bird dog that combines pointing and retrieving talents with a friendly, biddable temperament. Bright and eager to please, it trains readily and excels in the field, obedience, and agility. Its abundant energy is the defining trait: without an hour or more of vigorous daily exercise, a Brittany grows restless and destructive. It is a sensitive breed that responds best to upbeat, reward-based methods and wilts under harsh handling. Recall can be tested by birds and scent. Given plenty of activity and gentle training, the Brittany is an affectionate, athletic, and highly capable companion.
