Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Training
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a gentle, affectionate companion that lives to be near its people. Sweet-natured and eager to please, it takes readily to reward-based training and rarely shows stubbornness, making it a wonderful choice for first-time owners. Its greatest challenge is emotional rather than technical: Cavaliers bond so intensely that they are prone to separation anxiety, so early independence training matters. A spaniel heritage means they will chase scents and small animals, so recall deserves practice. Adaptable to apartments or houses, well-socialized, and naturally soft in temperament, the Cavalier is an easy, loving, and trainable family dog.
