Collie Training
The Collie, immortalized by Lassie, is a graceful, devoted herding dog renowned for gentleness and intelligence. Highly trainable and deeply attuned to its family, it learns cues quickly and excels at obedience and herding. Its sensitivity is the key to training it: the Collie flourishes with kind, reward-based methods and shuts down under harshness. Herding heritage brings a tendency to bark and to nip at movement, both manageable with early guidance. Collies need moderate daily exercise and thrive on companionship.
