Pomeranian Training
The Pomeranian is a tiny, fluffy extrovert descended from much larger sled dogs, and it carries a surprisingly bold, confident attitude. Lively and inquisitive, it is smart enough to learn tricks and obedience readily, but its love of barking and its self-assurance can lead to nuisance habits if not managed early. Consistent, reward-based training and firm boundaries prevent the classic small-dog syndrome. Poms can be slow to house-train, so a steady routine helps. They need little exercise but plenty of mental stimulation. Well-socialized and trained, the Pomeranian is a spirited, entertaining, and affectionate companion with a huge personality.
