Siberian Husky Training
The Siberian Husky is a stunning, athletic sled dog built to run for miles and think for itself. Friendly and outgoing with everyone, it is also famously independent, which makes it one of the more challenging breeds to train—especially recall, since a Husky in pursuit rarely comes back. Bred to pull and run, it needs vast amounts of exercise and is a determined escape artist and digger when bored. Positive, engaging, high-value training works far better than repetition. Never trust a Husky off-leash in an unfenced area. Given serious exercise and secure containment, it is a joyful, mischievous companion.
